RECOMMENDED — not currently owned; Dimebag used outboard EQs to slam the front end while carving his signature attack
The Champion 20 lacks a dedicated mid knob, so set the Voice selector to Metal 3 and crank the treble to 9 to replicate Dime's razor-sharp top-end cut and solid-state bite. Keep bass at 6 to prevent the 8-inch practice speaker from farting out under high-gain palm mutes. An outboard EQ or boost pedal is recommended later to dial in Dime's exact front-end parametric mid-frequency spikes.
