Why these settings

The HB-10G is a 10-watt practice amp with limited gain and a basic EQ section — it cannot replicate Dimebag's tone on its own. His rig relied on external EQ boosting mids and highs by +30dB before hitting a solid-state Randall at full gain. Without a distortion pedal, you will get a thin, fizzy approximation. I have set mids to 2 (scooped like original), treble high at 8 to capture his cutting attack, and gain maxed. A DS-1 in front with the amp's gain rolled back slightly would get you closer.

PRO TIPDimebag's right-hand attack was critical — he picked extremely hard with the pick angled slightly, and palm-muted very close to the bridge saddles for that tight, percussive chug. Practice aggressive downpicking with heavy palm pressure; the tone is 40% technique.
