| Knob | Setting (0–10) |
|---|---|

| Treble | 5 |
| Master | 5 |
01Overdrive
Used as edge-of-breakup grit to simulate the vintage low-watt tube saturation on Mark Linkous's 8-track recording
02Reverb
Gives small room ambience
The Glarry GA-20 is a basic solid-state practice amp with a clean channel and an aggressive drive switch, so keeping it on the clean channel and using your overdrive pedal at low gain produces a much more authentic vintage breakup than the amp's built-in distortion. The GA-20 only features Bass, Middle, Treble, and Master controls (gain and presence are absent on the clean path). Using the middle or neck+middle single-coil setting on your Rocketeer softens the top-end bite to evoke Linkous's dark, melancholic tape sound. Clean verse: keep the overdrive engaged lightly as dialed; the song stays consistently warm and dusty throughout.
