Why these settings

The Glarry GA-20 is a basic solid-state practice amp with limited EQ range. Marco Pirroni's original AC30 tone had Class A chime and harmonic richness your amp cannot replicate. I pushed treble to 7 and mids to 6 to capture the bright, punchy character. Gain at 3 gives slight edge without mushiness — the original was mostly clean with tube compression. Your Glarry guitar likely has generic humbuckers; bridge pickup with tone at 8 prevents muddiness while retaining some warmth.

PRO TIPUse aggressive downstroke picking right over the bridge pickup pole pieces — Pirroni's tone relied heavily on percussive right-hand attack to cut through the Burundi-style drum mix. Palm-mute lightly on the verse riff, then open up for the chorus stabs.
