01Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor (or similar gate)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Essential for high-gain Pantera tones to kill noise between riffs. The ID:Core's built-in gate may suffice if enabled in Blackstar Architect software.
The Randall RG-100ES was a solid-state amp with a tight, unforgiving response—your ID:Core's OD2/Super Crunch channel replicates this better than tube-voiced options. Set ISF fully counter-clockwise (American voicing) for the scooped, aggressive character Dimebag favored. Mids stay low at 4 to get that signature scoop, but your Jackson's high-output humbuckers mean you don't need gain past 8 to avoid mud.
