Why these settings

The Fender Champion 20 lacks a dedicated mid knob, so set the Voice control to the high-gain 'Metal 2000' voice to emulate Bellamy's Diezel VH4 crunch. The Ibanez Infinity humbucker provides plenty of output, so keeping gain around 7 delivers tight saturation without getting muddy on the 8-inch speaker. Intro/Verse surf tone: switch Voice to '65 Twin with Spring Reverb on.

PRO TIPDig in hard with a thick plectrum close to the bridge for the rapid galloping triplet picking in the outro to keep the low-end attack tight and punchy.
