Why these settings

The Silverline's OD2 channel has a tighter, more British voicing than the Mesa IIC+ — I've pushed bass +1 and treble +1 compared to the original to compensate for the Blackstar's less scooped native character. Your RG550's V7/V8 pickups are hotter and brighter than EMGs, so the TS808 model on your G11 at low drive will tame the harsh pick attack while adding that signature Hetfield tightness. The parametric EQ block is critical here — the V-curve scoop at 750Hz IS the Black Album rhythm tone.

PRO TIPHetfield's right hand is the real secret weapon — strict downpicking with the pick angled slightly toward the bridge, palm muting just behind the saddles. Practice the main riff at half speed with a metronome until your downstrokes are metronomic; the tone falls apart with alternate picking or sloppy muting.
