01Delay (use Blackstar's onboard delay or RECOMMENDED: Boss DD-3)

Tape-style delay ~350-400ms, moderate repeats. If using Silverline's built-in delay, set Mix to 40%, Time to ~380ms, Feedback to 30%. CRITICAL for the solo's singing sustain and swell.

02Overdrive (RECOMMENDED — Tube Screamer TS9 or clone)

RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Used as a clean boost to push the amp into Tweed-style breakup. Your Strat's lower-output single coils need this to approximate LP-into-cranked-Tweed compression. Without it, increase amp gain to 7.

Drive 3 · Tone 5 · Level 6
Why these settings

Original used PAF humbuckers (warm, mid-heavy, higher output) into a non-master-volume Tweed Deluxe cranked for power tube saturation. Your Strat's Ultra Noiseless pickups are brighter and lower output, so I pushed mid +2 and dropped treble -1 vs the original to compensate. ISF set toward British adds the midrange thickness the Tweed Deluxe is famous for. Neck pickup with tone rolled to 7 fattens the Strat closer to a humbucker voice.

PRO TIPThe Echoplex's preamp added subtle compression and warmth to Felder's tone — if you add a TS-style pedal, keep Drive low and Level high to act as that same clean boost/thickener rather than a distortion source. Pick closer to the neck for that round, singing note bloom.
