01Boss Metal Zone (MT-2)
Use as a clean EQ boost only — Dist at 0. The Silverline OD1 provides all the gain. Metal Zone's mid-frequency control pushes the 800Hz-1kHz range Gojira lives in. If you engage Dist, you'll get fizzy mush instead of tight chug.
The Dual Rectifier is scooped and saturated; the Silverline's OD1 with ISF pushed British compensates by adding more mid content (+1 mid vs original). Your EC-256's stock pickups are hotter than a passive SH-6, so gain stays at 6 rather than pushing higher. Bass pulled back from original's 6 to 5 because the Silverline's low-end is tighter and needs less cut.
