Why these settings

The Dual Rectifier is scooped and saturated; the Silverline's OD1 with ISF pushed British compensates by adding more mid content (+1 mid vs original). Your EC-256's stock pickups are hotter than a passive SH-6, so gain stays at 6 rather than pushing higher. Bass pulled back from original's 6 to 5 because the Silverline's low-end is tighter and needs less cut.

PRO TIPGojira's pick attack definition comes from picking directly over the bridge pickup pole pieces with a thick 1mm+ pick held at a slight angle — the 'chirp' on each downstroke is intentional.
