To compensate for the Stratocaster's brighter, thinner single-coil bridge pickup compared to Sammy Duet's tuned-down humbuckers, amp treble is pulled down to 4 and bass is raised to 7 while the ISF is set full British. The HM-2W's High and Low Color Mix controls are pulled back slightly from the Swedish-death-metal 'all on 10' setting to match Acid Bath's sludgy, grinding midrange clarity.
