Why these settings

The Frontman 10G is a small solid-state practice amp with no tube saturation — cranking gain to 10 adds grit but stays fizzy and thin compared to the original's warm Orange AD30 breakup. I pushed mids to 7 (vs typical 5-6) to compensate for the Frontman's naturally scooped, sterile voicing and get closer to the mid-forward Orange bark. Without an overdrive pedal, this tone is fundamentally unobtainable; the amp simply cannot produce the thick, dynamic breakup that defines this track.

PRO TIPRoll your guitar's tone knob to 6 and dig in with your pick near the neck pickup — the original tone has a woolly, slightly dark quality that comes from P90s with the tone backed off, not from bright settings. If you get the recommended OD pedal, set amp gain to 3-4 and let the pedal do the work.
