The Champion 20's British voice provides the necessary Marshall-style mid crunch and compression. Since single coils on a Strat are naturally brighter and thinner than Billie Joe's hot bridge humbucker, push the bass slightly and roll the guitar tone knob to 9 to tame excess single-coil top end bite. Mid and presence knobs do not physically exist on the Champion 20 panel and are left null.
