The Pathfinder 10 is a 10-watt solid-state amp with limited gain on tap—it will not break up like Billie Joe's cranked Marshall. Gain at 10 gives you the maximum grit available, but it's still cleaner than the original. Without a distortion pedal, you're getting maybe 40% of the way there. The Vox voicing is brighter and more chimey than Marshall, so treble stays moderate at 6 and bass is cut to 4 to avoid flub on power chords.
