The original uses a Mesa Dual Rectifier's high-gain Modern channel at gain 7 with a RAT stacked in front. Your Champion 25 is a solid-state practice amp with no high-gain channel — it maxes out at light breakup. Keep the amp clean (gain 3) and push mid +1 vs the Mesa's setting to compensate for Fender's naturally scooped voicing. A RAT-style pedal is mandatory here; without it you'll get clean tone, not Everlong. The Jackson's humbuckers match the original's output well.

PRO TIPDrop to D tuning and palm-mute hard right at the bridge saddles — the percussive low-D chug defines this riff more than any EQ setting. Roll tone knob to 8 to tame the JS22's ceramic bridge pickup bite.
