Why these settings

The original used a split-signal approach: clean DI for lows, distorted track for mids. Your B7K's Blend knob replicates this in one pedal — keep it at 5 to maintain that tight, modern low end while the drive adds upper-mid aggression. The SVT stays clean (gain 3) because the B7K is your dirt source; stacking SVT grit with B7K grit would create mud. SVT mid pushed to 7 compensates for the naturally scooped StingRay-style pickup in your Sterling.

PRO TIPUse a pick and palm-mute aggressively near the bridge — the original bass part locks tightly with the kick drum on sixteenth-note pulses. The grit should only appear on the attack transient, not sustain; if it's fuzzing out on held notes, drop the B7K Drive to 3 and push Level to 7 instead.
