Why these settings

Stephen Carpenter tracked Adrenaline with high-output humbuckers into high-gain heads, so the TS9 is set as a clean boost (Drive 0, Level high) to tighten low-end flub and push the Squier's single coils. The guitar tone is rolled down to 8 and amp treble is kept moderate to tame single-coil harshness without losing the cutting attack of the Modern mode. Bypass the MT-2 completely so the Dual Rectifier's preamp handles all the core saturation cleanly.

PRO TIPTune to Drop D (D-A-D-G-B-E) and hit the low power chords with a heavy downward attack right near the bridge for the signature percussive thump.
