Why these settings

Your Dual Rectifier is naturally more scooped and loose than the Mark IIC+ which has tighter, more focused mids. The TS9 at zero drive compensates by tightening the low-end flub that Rectos are known for. Mid at 3 replicates the V-curve scoop; the Mark IIC+ had even more aggressive mid-cut via its graphic EQ, but the Recto's inherent voicing gets you close without going lower.
