01Ibanez TS9 Tubescreamer (or equivalent boost/OD)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Essential for the pushed mid-hump character. A Behringer TO800 or Boss SD-1 are budget alternatives. Without this, increase amp gain to 6-7 and mid to 8, but the tone will lack the TS compression.
02Boss DD-3 Delay
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Short slapback delay (200-300ms). Use the THR10II's built-in delay as substitute: set to short time, low mix, single repeat.
The original uses a semi-hollow humbucker (warmer, fatter mids) through a Fender/Vox. Your Pacifica's bridge single-coil is brighter and thinner, so I pushed mids +1 to 7 and rolled treble back slightly to 6. The THR10II's Brit Hi model approximates the Vox-like chime with some grit. Without the TS9, the tone will lack that signature mid-bump compression — use the THR app's built-in overdrive pedal sim if available.
