The original uses a cranked Mesa Dual Rectifier — a high-gain monster your GA-10 practice amp cannot replicate from its preamp alone. The GA-10 is a basic 10-watt solid-state amp with only bass/treble EQ (no mid knob, no presence, no reverb). Set amp gain moderately high but rely on an external distortion pedal for the saturation. With the RECOMMENDED DS-1 or any high-gain distortion, keep amp gain at 3-4 instead and let the pedal do the heavy lifting. Treble raised slightly to compensate for your Strat's brighter single coils vs the original's Les Paul humbuckers.
