Why these settings

The GP-200's Rectifier model approximates the Triple Rec well but runs slightly looser in the lows than the real amp. The TS boost before the amp model tightens palm mutes. Gain dropped from original 8 to 7 because the GP-200 Recto model saturates faster. Mid scooped slightly (4 vs original 6) because modeling units often have more pronounced mids than tube Rectos.

PRO TIPTune to Drop D and practice the exact palm-mute pressure Kruspe uses — he mutes hard enough to kill sustain but light enough to let the fundamental D thump through. Too tight kills the groove; too loose sounds sloppy.
