RECOMMENDED — not currently owned
Because you don't own Jonny's Marshall Shredmaster pedal, use the MG30GFX's OD2 channel to supply the heavy saturation directly from the amp. The mid control is pulled back to 4 to replicate the Shredmaster's signature high-Contour mid-scoop, while treble is pushed to 7 to match the biting attack of the Lace Sensor bridge pickup into a solid-state Fender. If you acquire a Shredmaster or high-gain distortion pedal later, switch the amp to Clean with gain at 2 and run the pedal up front. Clean verse: switch to the Clean channel with guitar volume at 8.
