01Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive
Use as a tight boost into the OD channel to add pick attack and tighten low-end; low Drive keeps it from getting muddy
The MG30GFX's OD1 channel is voiced tighter and more mid-forward than the Hellwin/Bogner's saturated high-gain, so mid is dropped from the original's 6 to 5 to avoid honk. The SD-1 running low Drive into the front compensates for the MG's looser low-end compared to a tube head. Your Jackson's passive humbuckers are hotter than stock Invaders, so gain stays at 7 rather than pushing to 8-9.
