Original uses Mesa Dual Rectifier which has more saturation headroom and tighter low-end than the MG30GFX. The MG's OD1 channel gets you into high-gain territory but with looser lows, so bass is pulled back to 6 to prevent mud. Mid at 4 gives the scooped nu-metal character without disappearing entirely. Your MT-2 is not needed here—the MG's OD channel reaches this gain level adequately and stacking would create undefined mush.
