01Electro-Harmonix Ram's Head Big Muff Pi
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned; with this pedal, switch amp to Clean channel, gain to 2
02Analog/Tape Delay (e.g. Echorec clone / Carbon Copy)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned (FX loop, set to ~350ms multi-tap delay)
The HT5R MkII lacks a presence knob and you own no pedals, so the amp's Overdrive channel carries the fuzz sustain by pushing gain to 8. Set the ISF knob clockwise to around 7 to capture the British Hiwatt mid-grunt, bumping mid to 7 to replicate the violin-like sustain. Your semi-hollow ES-335 humbuckers provide more low-mid thickness than Gilmour's Strat, so tone is rolled back to 8 to tame peak fizz while keeping bass moderate at 5. Clean verse: switch to the Clean channel and roll guitar volume to 7.
