The Stranger C15 practice amp has a basic 3-band EQ and no onboard reverb or presence control, so those knobs are nulled. Because you own no pedals, the amp's onboard drive channel is dialed to gain 7 to capture the necessary singing sustain without turning into harsh solid-state clipping. Rolling the JS22 humbucker's tone knob back to 8 tames the top-end bite to mimic Gilmour's smooth, violin-like Muff character. Adding a Ram's Head Big Muff clone and a delay pedal will allow you to switch to the amp's clean channel with gain dropped to 2 for the authentic studio texture.
