Gain source — run directly into the amp input
The Vox AC10C1 is naturally chimy and lacks the high-gain preamp of Dimebag's solid-state Randall rigs, so the Boss MT-2 serves as the sole gain source into the amp's clean channel with amp gain kept at 2 to prevent muddy double-gain. Because the AC10C1 only has Bass and Treble controls (no Mid knob), the MT-2's semi-parametric EQ does the heavy lifting: scoop the Middle knob to 2 centered around 800-900Hz on Mid Freq to nail the signature Pantera scoop. Roll your Strat's bridge tone knob down to 8 and cut the Vox treble to 4 to round off the harsh single-coil glassiness compared to Dime's hot L500XL humbucker.
