Why these settings

Zakk used a cranked JCM800 with an SD-1 boost into EMG actives. Your Mini Jubilee has similar Marshall voicing but lower wattage and different gain structure. Keep amp gain at 4 (not maxed) because the DS-1 provides the saturation—stacking high amp gain with the DS-1 creates mud. Your Charvel's passive humbuckers are lower output than EMGs, so push bass +1 and DS-1 Level to 7 to compensate for the output difference. Presence stays low (3) as on the original to avoid ice-pick highs.

PRO TIPZakk used .060-.010 strings tuned down to C# standard—the heavier low strings add fundamental thump that lighter gauges can't replicate; if you're in standard tuning, consider at least a heavier low E (.052+) to get closer to that piano-like bass response on the palm mutes.
