01DS-1 Distortion (Mooer GE100 DS Block / T-OD/DS)
Set as primary dirt source in the GE100 chain before the amp model block
The studio track stacks a Boss DS-1 into Mesa and Bassman amps. On the Mooer GE100, we run the DS-1 distortion block into a clean Fender-style amp block with low preamp gain (2) to prevent double-gain mush while keeping the thick body. The Squier Sonic Mustang single-coil bridge pickup needs the distortion tone pulled back slightly to 5 to tame harsh top-end sizzle.
