The Yamaha THR10II is a modeling amp, so we select the LEAD amp model to generate the heavy shoegaze saturation natively without external dirt pedals. The Telecaster's single coils can get piercing, so roll the guitar tone knob down to 7 and run the middle pickup position to soften pick attack into the ambient reverb wash. The THR10II does not have a dedicated presence knob on its faceplate, so presence is omitted. Clean intro switch: flip amp model to CLEAN and back down guitar volume to 7.
