Pacifica's Alnico V humbucker is lower output than Invaders, so gain pushed to 8 (vs Mark IIC+'s 7). THR10II Modern voicing approximates the Mark IIC+ aggression but is slightly stiffer; bass raised to 7 to compensate for single-coil-width humbucker's thinner low end. Mid dropped to 2 to preserve the scooped character against THR's more neutral voicing. Treble at 7 maintains cutting edge without Yamaha's digital harshness.
