RECOMMENDED — not currently owned; tightens low-end flub on high-gain riffs
The Mooer Hornet's Model 8 voice provides the modern American high-gain saturation of the original Mesa/5150 blend. The Schecter Avenger SGR ceramic bridge humbucker is high-output, so keep gain around 7 to preserve note articulation during fast 16th-note rhythm chops without turning muddy. The Hornet faceplate has a 3-band EQ with no presence knob, so presence is null.
