Original used a Mesa Dual Rectifier with scooped mids (mid 4) into a 7-string. The Cube 40GX RECTIFIER model approximates this voicing but lacks the same low-end authority, so bass is pulled back to 6 to avoid flubby 6-string response. Mid dropped to 3 to replicate the signature nu-metal scoop. DS-1 in front adds the grinding saturation and tightness that makes palm-mutes percussive rather than mushy.
