RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Use for solo boost and to tighten the crunch. The Cube's CRUNCH channel alone gets you 75% there for rhythm work.
The Cube 40GX's CRUNCH channel approximates a British-voiced amp but sits flatter than a real JCM800. I pushed mids to 7 (vs a Marshall's natural 5-6) to compensate for the Cube's more neutral voicing. Your Pacifica's Alnico V bridge humbucker is lower output than a Gibson PAF, so gain stays at 6 rather than dropping it. Rolled tone knob to 7 to tame the Pacifica's slightly brighter top end versus a mahogany Les Paul.
