The THR10II's Lead channel approximates a Marshall voice. Your Pacifica's ceramic humbuckers are brighter and hotter than Slash's Alnico IIs, so I rolled tone_knob to 3 (original was near 0) to tame the top end and added +1 mid to compensate for the Yamaha's slightly scooped voicing vs a JCM800. Gain stays moderate — this solo sings, it doesn't scream.
