Why these settings

Original used a Dual Rectifier's high-gain channel into humbuckers — your Strat single coils are brighter and lower output. Amp gain dropped from 7 to 3 because the RAT provides the saturation; the Hot Rod's job is to stay clean and loud. Mid pushed to 7 (vs original 6) to compensate for Fender's scooped voicing. Treble cut to 5 (vs original 7) because Strat bridge pickup is already ice-picky. Tone knob rolled to 7 to tame single-coil harshness.

PRO TIPRetune to Drop D. Dig in hard on the chorus downstrokes and let the open D string ring under the chord shapes — the shimmer comes from those sympathetic overtones, not from effects.
