DeLonge ran his JCM900 clean channel with gain at 10, but your DSL40CR's Ultra Gain channel achieves similar saturation at 7. Your Les Paul's humbuckers are hotter and warmer than his single-humbucker Strat setup, so I pulled gain back slightly and kept mids at 6 rather than scooping them—the DSL is already more mid-forward than the JCM900/Rectifier blend. Treble stays moderate because the Les Paul won't need the brightness compensation his Strat required.
