01TC Electronic Spark Booster (or similar clean boost)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. The MXR MC401 boost added tightness and pick attack on the original. A clean boost pedal in front will help your ID:Core cut through with similar articulation. Without it, increase treble to 8 and gain to 8.
The Bogner Uberschall is a tight, focused high-gain amp with aggressive upper-mids and controlled low-end. The ID:Core's Super Crunch voice is its closest match—set ISF fully clockwise (British voicing) for that tighter midrange bite. Mids are pulled back to 4 because the Uberschall runs scooped, but the ID:Core's British ISF position already adds mid presence, so we don't scoop as hard as the original 1-2 setting. Your Jackson's ceramic humbuckers are hotter and brighter than Gates' Les Paul, so treble stays at 7 rather than pushing higher.
