TS9 substitute — SD-1 shares the mid-hump voicing. This is your gain source; amp stays clean.
Original used a JC-120 (solid-state, scooped, pristine cleans) with a TS9 for all the grit. Your AC30 is Class A with natural chime and more midrange than the JC-120 — keep amp gain LOW (3) so the SD-1 is the crunch source, not the amp. AC30 has no presence knob. Rolled treble down 0.5 from original and pushed mid +0.5 to compensate for Tele bridge pickup being brighter and thinner than Strat bridge. Reverb at 1 for slight room — the original is nearly dry.
