The original track uses single-coil and P-90 guitars pushing a Fender Deluxe Reverb into natural breakup layered with mid-hump overdrive. On the solid-state Marshall MG30CFX (which has no presence control, hence nulled), use the Crunch channel at gain 6 to capture that gritty breakup organically without external pedals. Because the Fender Player Strat bridge pickup is naturally sharper than Jacob Slater's SG Jr P-90, mid is boosted to 7 and treble pulled down to 5 to avoid solid-state fizz. For the quiet verses, roll your Strat volume knob down to 6-7; for the chorus and outro, open volume to 10 and switch to OD-1 channel for max saturation.
