The Fender Twin Reverb is a super-clean, mid-scooped platform that will not naturally distort like a cranked Marshall Super Lead. To achieve the Brown Sound, the amp stays pristine on gain 2 while the Boss OD-3 provides heavy drive, boosted and tightened by the TS9 for vital midrange bark. The amp treble is softened and the guitar tone is rolled to 8 to stop your Strat's single-coil bridge from sounding overly thin and harsh compared to Eddie's PAF humbucker.
