The Frontman 10G faceplate has only Gain, Bass, and Treble controls (mid, presence, and reverb are physically absent). Kenny Hickey's thick, B-standard Mesa/Marshall saturation is approximated by engaging the amp's OD switch with Gain at 7 and Treble pulled down to 4 to prevent the Strat's single-coil bridge from getting shrill. Adding a distortion pedal like a DS-1 into the clean channel and tuning down to B-standard will get you much closer to the massive studio roar.
