01POD Go Noise Gate Block
Input gate to clamp the aggressive drop-D syncopated chugs
02POD Go Parametric EQ Block
Post-amp EQ boost at ~700-800Hz to emulate Jones' multi-amp midrange punch
The SG with dual humbuckers delivers the requisite punch, but has slightly more upper-mid bite than Adam's heavy maple-capped Silverburst LP, so tone is pulled back slightly. On the POD Go, using the Diezel VH4 amp model with boosted mids and low presence gives the dry, crushing multi-amp core without high-end fizz. Reverb is locked at zero to preserve the dry, percussive attack of the signature riff. Talk box solo section: engage an onboard envelope/wah or auto-talk model block if desired.
