Gain source into the 80S ROCK model; Tone dialed warm to counter Telecaster bridge brightness
The original Shed tone relies on humbuckers pushing a high-headroom Marshall JCM800 into gritty, punchy saturation. With your Squier Sonic Telecaster single coils, the owned Boss DS-1 acts as the primary gain engine into the Mustang LT25's 80S ROCK model with amp gain dropped to 3 to prevent muddy double-gain stacking. The DS-1 Tone is set back to 4 and the guitar tone knob to 8 to tame single-coil ice-pick frequencies and emulate the thick Gibson humbucker low-mids. Middle has no knob on the LT25: press the encoder to open the preset, press it again on the amp model, then select MIDDLE on the display and turn the encoder.
