Why these settings

The original Dual Rectifier has a scooped, modern voicing with massive low-end. The Marshall Code's JCM800 model is more mid-forward, so mid is set lower (4 vs original 6) to compensate. Bass is pulled back from the Rectifier's settings because the JCM800 voice has tighter low-end that doesn't need as much—your Ibanez's humbuckers will fill it out. Treble stays moderate; the Code can get fizzy at high treble values.

PRO TIPPalm mute with your hand positioned closer to the bridge than usual—the Rectifier tone on this track has extremely tight low-end definition, and sloppy muting will turn your riffs to mud in Drop C.
