The Rumble EQ features 4 bands (Bass, Low-Mid, High-Mid, Treble), so set High-Mid to 7 and Low-Mid to 6 for optimal punch while presence and reverb are absent on this faceplate. Activating both the P and J pickups on your Mustang bass captures the thick low-end punch of a P-split with the metallic string clank of a bridge J single-coil.
