The original uses a Mesa Mark III which has tighter, more focused mids than the MG30CFX's looser British voicing. Compensate by pushing mid to 7 and pulling bass to 4 to avoid flabbiness. The MG's OD1 channel gets close but lacks the Mark series' signature mid-cut precision — a TS-style pedal in front would tighten the low end and add the percussive attack this tone demands.
