We trim extreme bass on the amp and use the MXR 10-Band EQ to notch out flub around 250-500Hz and boost 2kHz for Mick Thomson's signature serrated pick attack. Presence is physically omitted on the Katana 50 faceplate, so high-end cut is dialed directly via the Treble knob at 7.
