The BRIT COMBO model replicates Brian May's Vox AC30 voice, pushed hard with gain at 8 to simulate the cranked Normal channel. Mids are boosted to 8 to mimic the signature vocal push of the Red Special and treble booster, while the bridge humbucker on your Cort is bypassed in favor of the neck+middle single-coils to get closer to May's hollow out-of-phase character. If you acquire a treble booster pedal later, switch the amp gain down to 5 and let the pedal push the front end. Heavy rock section: switch to bridge pickup with tone knob wide open at 10.
