01Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive
Primary gain source—replicates the MXR Distortion+ saturation and compression. The SD-1's asymmetrical clipping is closer to the Distortion+'s germanium character than the HM-2W's chainsaw voicing.
The Tone Master Deluxe Reverb is a clean Fender platform—it cannot produce Marshall crunch on its own, so the SD-1 becomes the gain source with the amp staying clean (gain 3). Rhoads ran very low bass (~2) on the Marshall; your Jackson's humbuckers are hotter than his passive PAFs, so bass 4 compensates while keeping the fast riffs tight. Mid pushed to 7 because Fenders are naturally scooped vs the mid-forward Marshall. The Tone Master has no presence knob.
