Why these settings

The DS-2 is your sole dirt source, so the Orange amp is set clean with gain down at 2 to avoid double-gain mush. Turbo Mode II fattens up the DS-2's mid response to compensate for your SG's humbuckers compared to Gilmour's bright single-coil Strat, while keeping the pedal tone dialed back to 4 to shave off harsh solid-state fizz. If you acquire a Ram's Head Big Muff, switch out the DS-2 and drop pedal Tone around 3.5 to replicate the signature Hiwatt headroom. For the acoustic/clean verse sections, simply click off the DS-2.
